13 Ways of Looking at a Typeface Booklet

class project

BACKGROUND
Michael Bierut’s 13 Ways of Looking at a Typeface explores typography through a series of insightful reflections, illustrating how typefaces can convey meaning, evoke emotion, and shape our perceptions in diverse contexts.

STRATEGY
For this project, I created a booklet based off of Bierut’s article. Each spread is dedicated to one of the thirteen reasons for appreciating type. The header typefaces are thoughtfully selected to embody the essence of each reason, while the vibrant colors enhance the overall visual experience, making typography both engaging and expressive for readers.
